Mediation Services
A Private Path to Resolution.
Monument Solutions LLC provides confidential, structured mediation for business disputes, workplace conflicts, and personal matters — outside of court, on your terms.
The Process
What Is Private Mediation?
Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process in which a neutral third party — the mediator — facilitates structured dialogue between disputing parties. The mediator does not decide the outcome. The parties do.
Unlike litigation, mediation is private, flexible, and focused on resolution rather than winning. It is typically faster, less expensive, and far less adversarial than going to court — and any agreement reached belongs entirely to the parties involved.
Monument Solutions LLC is not a law firm. Our mediators are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or legal representation. Mediation is not a substitute for legal counsel. If you require an attorney, we encourage you to consult one.

- Neighbor and property disputes
- Roommate and housing conflicts
- Estate and inheritance disagreements (non-legal)
- Personal loan and financial disputes
- Non-domestic family conflicts
What We Do Not Handle
Monument Solutions LLC does not provide mediation services for divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, or any court-mandated family law matter. These cases require specialized legal expertise and, in many instances, court oversight that falls outside our scope of practice.
If you are involved in a family law matter, we encourage you to consult a licensed family law attorney in Virginia.
The Process
How the Process Works
01
Initial Consultation
We begin with a confidential consultation to understand the nature of the dispute, confirm that mediation is appropriate, and explain the process to all parties.
02
Agreement to Mediate
All parties sign a mediation agreement confirming their voluntary participation and the confidential nature of the process.
03
Structured Sessions
We facilitate one or more structured sessions in which each party has the opportunity to be heard. The mediator guides dialogue, identifies common ground, and helps parties explore options.
04
Resolution & Agreement
When parties reach an agreement, it is documented in writing. Monument Solutions LLC does not draft legally binding contracts — parties are encouraged to have any agreement reviewed by their own attorney.
